Audio Corner
The library also has an audio center where children can listen to a story on CD and follow along with the book. This is a very popular area of the library for both the child just starting out to read and for those who are already reading.
Story Time
Every Wednesday and Thursday at 5PM is Story Time. Children enjoy stories read aloud that
introduce them to new places around the world, new ideas, laughter, and more. Children particularly love when they can participate in the reading!
Noche de Cine
The last Friday of every month the reading room turns into a mini-movie theater. The tables are moved out, additional seats are brought in, lights are turned out, and the movie put on. The children enjoy great quality movies and are especially intrigued when watching a movie and recognize that it is based on a book that they have recently read or heard.
