Payment terms
- To participate in the library project, a deposit of 30% of the total fee is payable within 7 days of acceptance of your application. The remainder of the payment must be paid at least 60 days before the start date of your placement. Failure to make the balance of payment at least 60 days prior to your start date will result in the loss of your placement and deposit without exception.
- If your placement starts in less than 60 days from the date of your booking, payment in full is required immediately upon acceptance.
- Information as to how and where to send deposit and balance payments will be sent to you upon receipt and review of your application.
- The down payment and balance payment can be done via bank transfer. All bank fees are the responsibility of the customer. Please note that the bank fee for each transfer is approximately $25 and will be charged to the customer's account at the time of arrival.
- Volunteer placement can only be organized once the deposit is received.
- Language course and homestay placement can only be reserved once the deposit is received.
Cancellation by the volunteer
- Cancellation refunds are only available if requested in writing by e-mail at least 60 days prior to the start date of your placement, this is due to the fact that we make a financial commitment to the projects before your arrival. Your deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Depending on the reason for cancellation you may be able to claim on your travel insurance, minus any excess they may impose. All claims must be sent directly to your insurance provider and not to La Pagina en la Puerta.
