You will need certain vaccinations for a safe visit while in Cusco and Peru. It is a good idea to contact or make an appointment with your doctor or Center for Disease Control to determine which vaccinations will be necessary for your visit and for working with children. Some vaccines can take months to become active so please consult your doctor at the earliest possible opportunity. Some of the vaccinations suggested are Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid Fever and Yellow Fever (mandatory if you decide to travel to the jungle).
