- Children between 6 and 17 on their own.
- The majority of the children that come are in primary school (1st to 6th grade).
Library profile:
- Membership: 585+ registered children.
- Active members: 300 children.
- Inactive members: 285 children.
- Visiting children: 75 children.
- On average the library receives 20 different children on a daily basis.
- On average the library receives 70 different children on a monthly basis.
NextProfile of children that no longer come:
- Most have moved to other neighborhoods and though welcome, don’t come due to the distance.
- Many are now in the afternoon turn of school and can’t come, but some are returning for our Saturday afternoon openings.
- There are some that feel too old, though there are books through adult levels – these children are being invited to join reading clubs.
- Other children now must help their families by working and can’t come.
